How do I add my Google AdSense account to your ads.txt file?

It's important to include your Google AdSense account information to our ads.txt file as to not interrupt your ad delivery while you transition to working with Freestar. In addition, if you plan on keeping AdSense live while working with Freestar, this information will need to stay persistent on the ads.txt file live on your site.

This article from Google explains what you'll need to gather from AdSense. Below is how to then apply this to the Freestar ads.txt file:

Your Google AdSense entry will look like this:

  • google.com, pub-0000000000000000, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0
  • Note: the bolded 0000000000000000 need to be replaced with your Google AdSense account ID.

You'll then add the above entry, with your specific AdSense account ID, to the very bottom of our master ads.txt file.

Your Adsense entry would then look like this at the bottom of our ads.txt file:

# PUBLISHER SPECIFIC ADS.TXT INFO BELOW THIS LINE

# Google AdSense

google.com, pub-0000000000000000, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0
