Multi-Format ad units allow for multiple ad types to all run in your existing ad units. Freestar is participating in this AppNexus Multi-Format to increase overall revenue for your site. Turning on Multi-Format ads requires no work on your end. In the early phases of this product, we started with AppNexus and Beachfront demand using multiple product types, but continue to add more demand partners as they become eligible. Eventually, we expect nearly all of our Prebid.js demand partners to participate.
An ad unit is said to be Multi-Format if it supports at least two of the following media types:
Once declared, any bidder that supports at least one of the media types can participate in the auction for that ad unit.
