DSP and Real Time Bidding (RTB) companies generally have unique data and ad decisioning algorithms that determine which individual impression(s) they believe are of most value to them and their advertisers. They find value in the ability to cherry-pick impressions across all of Freestar’s transparent/scalable display and video ad inventory. Additionally, some of the larger companies prefer to access Freestar’s publisher inventory via our SSP pipes so they can directly connect to us via their bidders and save on 3rd party Exchange/SSP fees. Other companies, however, like the option to transact via PMPs when they currently do not have the ability to transact via Header Bidding/OpenRTB.
We attempt to work with every DSP and Real Time Bidding (RTB) company that transacts programmatically and sources their advertiser demand directly from an agency and/or advertiser. No resellers are allowed.
Once we have every DSP and Real Time Bidding (RTB) company directly connected via our SSP and piped into your ad inventory, we are able to create more programmatic demand which in turn increases your fill, eCPMs, and net revenue.
